Take a position: Should racial profiling be allowed in the screening of airline passengers?

As you develop your argument, answer the following questions.

What similarities and differences exist between the profiling of those of Middle Eastern descent and African Americans or Hispanic Americans?

In Chapter 4, we discussed the conflict of rights. How important are individual rights as compared to taking into account the "good of society?"

Does your answer depend on how successful the profiling is likely to be? Can you find evidence that racial profiling is successful? Does it matter if you cannot?
